Always when January comes to an end instead of undone New Year’s resolutions, I think about the upcoming fashion week. And this year’s has been a huge pop out. So here is all the highlights from this years Fall Winter and Spring Summer Haute Couture Fashion Week 2025.
Dolce & Gabbana Menswear | Fall/Winter 2025/26 | Milan
I am absolutely obsessed with this show. I love the idea of the paparazzi in the front and the red carpet. Fur is the most reappearing piece in this show which might couse the “Mob wife” trend to come back. As well as suits that were already in Saint Laurent SS 25 show make their way into this one. Overall it’s one of the better shows of menswear as of late.
Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture| Spring/Summer 2025
This show was WET. All I could think while watching this is how beautifully it’s showing the whole vibe of ocean, mermaids and pirates. I also love seeing Rosie Huntington-Whiteley once again one the runway after a long break.
Rahul Mishra Haute Couture | Spring/Summer 2025
Starting with amazing black shiny abstarct clothes the show suddenly turned into gold. I loved the topic of ravens in the first part of the show which fufilled my prophecy (Which I write about in: “2025 Fashion Forecast: What’s In and What’s Out“) of the “Dark Romance” theme coming back in 2025. I don’t know if it’s just me but the second gold part made me think of the “Hunger Games”.
Schiaparelli Haute Couture | Spring/Summer 2025
In this show I saw Schiaparelli “playing” with shapes. They were abstract and toned in the same time. Very classy but standing out. Elegant and nude. The two colors, bisque and black making a beautiful pair. I also loved the shoes which were pointy and tied in a way that reminded me of ballerina shoes.
Miss Sohee Haute Couture | Spring/Summer 2025
The nature theme in this show is outstanding. I would for sure see someone wearing this in last year’s Met Gala and I would love every part of it. It’s all elegant, and something I love in fashion most of all, it’s art. Every single piece of this show is art and all those models look like they came from a painting. I am also a huge fan that each of the models had a different walk, they didin’t walk like a robot but like a true art piece. I recomend anyone watching that show because I can’t even express how amazing it is.
